Zula Inez Banks- Age 86 of Memphis, TN passed away on February 21, 2018 at Methodist North Hospital.  She was born in Mt. Airy, NC to Percy and Hattie Shepard on September 29, 1931.  She is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Banks; her parents and 3 sisters.  Survivors include her children, Gary Banks (Ruth), Charles Banks and Celeste Skonhovd (Stephen); grandchildren, Jacob Banks, Joshua Banks, Benjamin Banks, Rachael Banks, Daniel Banks, Noah Banks, David Skonhovd, Jeffrey Skonhovd, Joseph Skonhovd and one great grandchild, Isaac Banks.

Inez was very involved in her church.  She attended Georgian Hills United Methodist Church and Schoolfield United Methodist Church in the Frayser community, and she later attended First United Methodist Church in Millington.  She was very close to her family, and they will always remember her as a sweet loving mother.

Her funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 12:00pm with visitation from 11-12:00pm.  Interment will follow.  All visitation and services will take place at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Memorial Park 6755 Hwy 51 N. Millington, TN 901-872-3375.
