Winston Earle Hawley, age 75, departed on April 27, 2011 to be with his Lord Jesus Christ. He is survived by four daughters, Brenda (Michael) Bowers, Karen (Bill) Bratten, Judith (Rodney) Mallory, and Diana (Rick) McKee; eleven grandchildren: Carrie, Carol, Kim, Trey, Amber, Ryan, Bethany, Rachel, Paul, Ben, and Jacob. Chief Hawley served his country 33 years as a SeaBee in the United States Navy. His career spanned three combat tours in Korea and Vietnam and included 38 tours of duty. After his military retirement, Mr. Hawley served his fellow man by instructing job skills through Memphis City technical schools, colleges and prisons. He served his Lord by building churches and lives through a ministry of love. His legacy lives on in his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as they serve our Lord. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2011 with funeral services at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington, TN.
