Wilma LaVerne Smith Goodman, 85, of Millington,TN died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at her home. She was a member of Shelby Forest Baptist Church, retired from Kimberly-Clark and a member of the Forest Drive Civic Club. Mrs. Goodman is survived by her husband of 57 years, Walter D. Goodman; daughters Georgia Hales, Barbara Ballard (Jerry); sons Dale Goodman (Sheila), and Dean Goodman (Karen), all of Millington; sister, Dorothy Smith Giacosa of Arlington, TN; brothers, Donald Smith of Brighton, TN and Horace Smith of Horseshoe Lake, AR; nine grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by daughter-in-law Sherry Hopper Goodman. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm., Monday, October 4, 2010 at Northridge Woohaven Funeral Home followed by interment at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
