William "Skip" Lloyd Chipman of Millington, died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the age of 60. Skip proudly served in the United States Army from 1971 to 1977 and retired from Noland Company. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Rebecca Courtney Chipman; daughters, Sheila (and Eddie) Essary, Shelley (and Kenny) Scarborough, Brandy (and Shane) Pritchard; brothers, Michael Chipman, Terry Chipman; sister, Nina Chipman Sweeney of New Orleans; five grandchildren, Morgan Scarborough, Ryan Essary, Lindsey Scarborough, Katelyn Essary, Bryn Pritchard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Naomi Chipman. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, at 5 p.m. at Northridge Woodhaven in Millington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the donor's choice charity or to the family.
