Memphis/Munford - William Jack Rutledge Jr. 85, died December 19, 2008. He was a member of the Millington Masonic Lodge for nearly 50 years and retired from International Harvester where he worked as a tool and die Inspector. He also served in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Machinist Mate during World War II. He is survived by his wife Mary Ruth Rutledge, 2 daughters Gloria A. Marcum & Linda S. Lanning, 2 sons Phillip W. Rutledge & James A. Thompson, 2 sisters Dorothy Reeves and Ruth Frasier, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son Alan Rutledge. He was involved with the Special Olympics and family requests any donations be made his behalf to the Special Olympics.
