William "Billy" Morris Melloh, Jr., 48, of Marion, AR passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2020, at Methodist Alliance Hospice House after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving wife, parents, and brothers. Billy was born March 22, 1971, in Virginia Beach, VA to Bill and Wanda Melloh. Billy grew up a "squid kid" since his father was in the Navy. Billy moved from Virginia Beach, VA to Nicolsi, Sicily and lived on the side of Mt. Etna. From there his dad was stationed in Millington, TN where he retired. Billy is a 1989 graduate of Millington Central High School where he was a member of the marching band and achieved ranking as an Eagle Scout. He was a 1991 graduate of Covington Vo-Tech with a certificate in industrial maintenance. He joined W.M. Barr in 1992 and retired after 27 years as an industrial mechanic. Billy is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Crystal Melloh, Marion, AR; and his parents, Bill and Wanda Melloh of Millington, TN. He is also by three brothers: Gene Carpenter(Catherine) of Le Mesa, CA; Steven Carpenter(Suk) of San Antonio, TX; and Perry Melloh(Michelle) of Millington, TN. He is also survived by three nieces, one nephew, and five great-nephews, and two great-nieces. Services will be held Saturday, January 25 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 6755 Highway 51 N., Millington, TN. Visitation will begin at 11 am with the service immediately following at 12 p.m. Chaplain James Johnson is presiding. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in memoriam of Billy to Methodist Alliance Hospice House, Memphis, TN.
