William A. Knight, 68, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Methodist North Hospital. Mr. Knight was a Medic in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. He was an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic and a Harley Davidson enthusiast. His survivors include his wife, Paula Knight of Millington; his son, Donald (Julie Ann) Gardner of Somerville; a daughter, Michelle (David Wayne) Gardner Wininger of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren, Robert Gregory Jones, Jr., Ryan Hunter Gardner, Charles Luke Gardner, Benjamin Paul Gardner, Abigail Rayann Gardner, and Alexandria Skylar Gardner; two great grandchildren, Dustin Lee Jones, and James Lucas Jones; his brother, Barry Schnapper of Houston, TX; and a sister, Carol Copp. He was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Sarina Michelle Jones and Paula Ann Jones. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 5 - 8 p.m. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be sent to Methodist LeBonheur Children''s Hospital.
