Drummonds - William Clyde Hodges, 97, died Sunday, September 30, 2012 at his Drummonds residence. Originally from Eupora, MS, Mr. Hodges is a retired Chief Petty Officer U.S. Navy and earned a Purple Heart in Okinawa. He loved gardening. He is survived by his daughters, Frankie Coleman of Memphis, Jennifer Beckham (Richard) of Memphis, Dotty Cherry of Bartlett, Kees Flournoy (Pete) of Mason, TN, and Carol Crain (Tom) of Drummonds; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Hodges, and son, Frank Tabor. The family will receive friends at Northridge Wood-haven Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 2 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 3 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
