William L. Grace, Jr ("Billy"), 76, of Memphis, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at his home.

Billy was born on November 25, 1946 to William "Bill" and Hazel Aileen Grace. He graduated from Westside High School and attended UT Martin on a football scholarship. He worked in the car business as a Sales Manager until his retirement.

Billy was very athletic in school; playing basketball, baseball, running track, and was an all-star football player. He loved all sports and coached his two sons when they were younger. He enjoyed playing poker, watching westerns (especially John Wayne), and his favorite pastime was listening to music.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents,  William Grace, Sr and Hazel Aileen Grace. He is survived by his life partner, Martha Ann Buchanan; two sons, David Grace, and William "Donnie" Grace; daughter, Debbie Grace Baker; grandchildren, Chance (Morgan) Baker, Branden Baker, and Colbie (Zachary) Ramsey. Through his long-term relationship with his partner in life Ann, he gained additional family members in which he called his own; children, Ricky Buchanan, Randy Buchanan, and Amanda Miller; grandchildren, Brooke Buchanan, Brittany Coppedge, Heather Toliver, and Hollye Granier. He also leaves his siblings; Roxie Kenny, Freda Moore, and Gerald Don Grace; four nephews and ten great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am-12:00 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2023, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 12:00 pm.
