William M. "Billy" Nash, 80, of Bartlett departed this life for his heavenly home on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the Methodist Hospice Residence. He was born, May 25, 1933 to parents Earl M. Nash and Mayme P. Nash. A 1951 Bartlett High School graduate, Mr. Nash served in the United States Army from 1957 - 1959. He married his high school sweet heart, Virginia Sanford. He was a retired member of Plumbers Local #17, Memphis. Mr. Nash was a bass fisherman, and liked to play golf. He was a member of Ellendale Baptist Church.

Mr. Nash is survived by his wife of 59 years, Virginia Nash; one daughter, Denise Brown (Jeff) of Maryville, TN; two granddaughters, Amy Eldridge (Michael) and Ashley Brown; one grandson, Jason Marcus Brown (Mary); four great grandchildren, Tyra Brown, Haylee Brown, Jase Brown, and Shay Harper Eldridge; and two sisters, Jerry Gary of Memphis and Marilyn Travis of Millington, and a brother-in-law, Bobby Sanford. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl & Mayme Nash, one sister Earline Gower.

The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Funeral services begin at 12:00 p.m. at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
