William Lee Stewart (Bill) passed away at the age of 70 on May 3, 2016 while surrounded by his family. Bill was born in Memphis, TN on January 9, 1946. He was the third child and only son of Lester and Callie Stewart. During his life, he served in the U.S. Army and spent 2 years in Vietnam. After his service, he began working for MLGW, where he remained until his retirement in 1999. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie, of almost 50 years, as well as his three children Karole Stewart Chastain, Robbie Stewart, and Natalie Stewart. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren and one great grandson. Mr. Bill Stewart was an honorable man who was loved by many and will be missed dearly. Funeral services will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington, TN on Sunday, May 8, 2016, visitation at 1:00 pm, service at 3:00 pm followed by a full military burial.
