William R. Anglin, 70, of Memphis, TN went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 29, 2017. Mr. Anglin is preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Margie Anglin; and his sister, Melba Spencer. He is survived by his wife, Maria Anglin; daughter, Rhonda Fitzhugh (Michael); son, Jason Anglin (Shaye); sister, Sue Morrison; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Anglin retired from the Shelby County Sheriff''s Department as a deputy jailor. He and his wife are members of Bellevue Baptist Church. He is a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Anglin was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His favorite passage of scripture that brought him comfort was Psalm 23. A memorial service will be held at Bellevue Baptist Church on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
