Wesley Yates Cramer, 75, of Drummonds, TN passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Mr. Cramer was preceded in death by his son, Richard Cramer; father, Leo Woodford Cramer; and brother, Lee Cramer. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cramer; mother, Florence Yates Cramer; daughter Shari McDermott (Shannon); son, William Cramer (Connie); step-daughters: Kristin Pullen (Wally), Lauren Ward (Chris), and Shannon McHugh; 3 grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Cramer (Nancy), sister, Kathy Fisher (Gary); 1 brother-in-law, Don Turner; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Cramer grew up around Memphis in the Millington area where he graduated from Millington Central High School. He excelled in sports through his high school years. He is a former owner of Cramer Chopper Shop where he used his vast artistic ability. His final career calling was as a pipe fitter where he taught himself to read and draw blueprints. He is a former member of Local G14. Mr. Cramer was a lover of nature where he enjoyed hunting and fishing, growing fruits and vegetables, and building canoes. He was also a huge history buff. A visitation will be held Monday, September 17, 2018 from 1-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00. All services and interment will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery.
