Wayne K. Wilson, 81, passed away peacefully with family at his side at Methodist Germantown Hospital, Germantown, TN on May 31, 2013. He was a member of St. William Catholic Church for 43 years. At the young age of 17, Wayne enlisted in the U.S. Navy, quickly became known as "Willie", and would dedicate the next 30 years of his life to this country, serving both in Korea and Vietnam, and retiring as a Lt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Knute and Helen Wilson; in-laws Casnor and Inez Armstrong; brothers, Richard, Gary, and Loren Gene Wilson. Wayne leaves to cherish his memory a son, Brad Wilson (Laurie) of Collierville, TN; two daughters, Gail Mason (John) of Victoria, TX, and Constance Scoggins of Atoka, TN; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sister, Karen Prinsen (Bob) of Rochester, MN and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
