Walter Harold "Red" Johnson, 86, USN Retired, died Sunday January 15, 2012 in Millington, TN. with his wife of 60 years at his side. "Red" retired from the U.S. Navy in 1979 after 30 years of service. He is survived by his Loving wife: Marge Johnson, Son & daughter-in-Law: James & Becky Johnson, Daughters: Priscilla Girard & Bev Johnson, Brothers & Sisters-in-Law: Lyle & Julie, Adolph, Jerry & Carol, Richard & Lynda & Joe & Carleen Johnson, Sister: Margaret Wolske: 6 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Henry & Annie Johnson, Sister: Caroline Schoeder, Sister-in-Law: Ruth Johnson, Brother-in-Laws': Lyman Wolske, Dutch Schoeder & Nephew: Rory Johnson. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00pm on Thursday January 19, 2012 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington, Tennessee. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday January 20, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment with full military honors will follow at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
