Wallace Baker, 75, of Millington, TN went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 19, 2017. Mr. Baker is preceded in death by his father, Harry Baker(Jean); mother, Edith Baker; brother, Joe Baker; and sister, Wilda Alcorn. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ramelle Baker; daughter, Stephanie Morris(Jason); grandson, Jake Morris; sister, Vera Filer; brothers, Don and Floyd Baker; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Baker served our country in the US Navy. He worked for Layne & Bowler for 35 years until the Memphis plant closed. He then went on to work as a supervisor at ABEC for 9 years until he retired. He was extremely active at The House Church where he was a member. He was also an avid deer hunter, fisherman, and wood builder in his free time. A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 5-7 pm at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home. His funeral service will be Thursday, August 24th at 10:00 am at The House Church(3686 Austin Peay Hwy). Interment will follow at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
