Virginia B. Nash, 89, of Cordova, TN departed this life for her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.  She was born December 8, 1935 to parents William A. Sanford and Betty J. Sanford.  Mrs. Nash was a graduate of Frayser High School.  She married her high school sweetheart, William M. (Billy) Nash in 1954.  Mrs. Nash was a member of Ellendale Baptist Church.  She enjoyed traveling, reading, spending time with her grandchildren, and cooking delicious meals and baking wonderful desserts for family and friends.  She loved the Lord and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  Mrs. Nash is survived by her daughter, Denise Brown (Jeff) of Maryville, TN; one grandson, Jason Brown, two granddaughters, Amy Eldridge (Michael) and Ashley McNeely (B.J.);  seven great-grandchildren, Tyra Webb, Haylee Brown, Jase Brown, Shay Eldridge, Cole McNeely, Cade McNeely, Adyson McNeely; and two great-great grandchildren, Lincoln Brown, Liam Webb; one sister, Donna Box and one brother, Bobby Sanford; three nephews, Marc Sanford, Greg Box, Legend Box.  She was preceded in death by her parents William Austin and Betty Juanita Sanford, and her husband William M. (Billy) Nash. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. for a Celebration of Life Service.  Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
