Vergie Elaine Cobble, 84, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 in Bartlett, TN. She leaves behind two sons, Jeff Cobble and Greg Cobble "Terry"; nine grandchildren, Shonda Moody "Nathan", Anna Tetreault "Shane", Ashton Cobble "Josh", Brittany Moses "Chase", Blake Cobble "Jessica", Shelby Taube "Blake", Ava, Autumn and Bill Youngblood; thirteen great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Vester Miller; her husband, James Harold Cobble; one daughter, Sylvia McKelvey; one sister, Helen Higdon; two brothers, Pruitt Miller and Gary Miller; and one grandchild, Amanda Murley.

Elaine was a longtime member of River Deep Baptist Church where she played the piano from the time she was a little girl. She was a very caring, giving, independent, selfless woman and a heart of gold. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going out to eat, reading books and crossword puzzles.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 from 1:00-2:00p.m. with funeral services starting at 2:00p.m. at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
