Timothy Wayne McDonald, age 34, passed away June 25, 2011 in Memphis, TN. Tim was a renovation specialist working various projects at the University of Memphis, where he completed his BA in Computer Science. He was also working toward his Master''s degree at Strayer University. An all-around outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed motorcyles, hunting and skydiving. He leaves one daughter, Moriah Shipley of Elkins, AR; his mother, Donna Schroeder of Memphis; his father, Derrel McDonald of Elkins; one brother, Derrel McDonald, Jr. of Pass Christian, MS; and two sisters, Dana Gray of Rogers, AR and Jan Tomlinson of Los Angeles, CA. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Sonya Sanford and Lori Sexton. A memorial service in celebration of Tim''s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home with Rev. James D. Witherington, Jr., pastor of East Acres Baptist Church in Millington, TN officiating. The family requests that any memorials be directed to the Memphis Humane Society or to East Acres Baptist Church.
