Thelma O. Williams, 85, of Memphis, TN passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Williams; son, Kenneth A. Williams; daughter, Karen G. Williams; parents, Dexter and Udell Matthews; brother, Joe Matthews; and brother, Jack Matthews. She is survived by her daughter, Donna A Bolton; son, Michael Williams; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Lela Jenkins; sister, Lucy Rutherford; and brother, W.D. Matthews. Mrs. Williams was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her family. She was a military wife and embraced all the responsibilities that entailed. She had a servant''s heart that spent her whole life taking care of her family and others. She loved to travel and cook in her spare time. A visitation will be held Monday, October 2, 2017 from 1-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00. All services and interment will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery.
