Sidney Ira Stafford, age 85, of Drummonds, TN, died Friday, January 20, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Tipton. Mr. Stafford was born August 1, 1926 in Whitehall, AR to Casper and Mattie Stafford. He was retired from Kimberly Clark, a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church and was an avid farmer and traveler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mavis Stafford, his parents, five brothers and two sisters. He leaves one brother, C.P. Stafford of Jonesboro, AR. He also leaves his dear friends and honorary family, Richard and Kay Joyner of Drummonds and their children. All services will be today, Sunday, January 22 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, with visitation from 12 noon until service time at 2 pm. Interment to follow in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
