Shirley McEwen-Tanner, of Memphis went to be with her heavenly Father on January 3rd 2024 at her home. She was born in Millington, TN on July 10, 1948, graduated Frayser High School Class of 66, resided in Memphis, TN. Proceeded in death by her Mother Frances McEwen and Father Charles Ralph McEwen, she was a devout Sister. She was a member of Forest View Church of Christ. She was a true friend to the canine family and her beloved Lab "Blackie". She is survived by her brother David McEwen, sister-in-law Sharon, and only niece Danielle Sprinkle and husband Andrew of Huntsville AL.

Graveside services and internment will take place Friday February 23, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the ASPCA.
