Shirley "Nana" Swift, 57, of Millington, TN passed away Friday, December 15, 2017. Mrs. Swift was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Ray and Elizabeth Henegar; and sister, Billie Rae Gipson. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, James "Gdaddy" Swift; son, Billy Swift; daughter, Vanessa Daniel; grandchildren: Shelby Motes, Sabrina Daniel, Moose Daniel, James Daniel; and siblings: Eva Moore, Walter Henegar, and Kathy Brown. Shirley had a servant''s heart. She loved to cook for people and take care of her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was an amazing "Boss Lady", a one of a kind leader. She was a board member of a Widow''s Mite. Even though she was very loving to her family and friends, she was also "brutally honest." She was also a fighter, which is where her nickname, "Tuffy" comes from. A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 1-2 with a funeral service to follow at 2:00. All services and interment will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery. Following the service, the family would like to invite everyone to Grace Community Church (1880 Fite Rd. Millington) for a reception and fellowship.
