It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Sage Skylar Smith, aged 32 of Millington, Tennessee.  She was a shining light to many and will be forever remembered for her kindness and compassion for those that are less-fortunate; her resourcefulness; her desire to be a good daughter, sister, mother and granddaughter; her wacky sense of humor; her soul-stirring voice; and her beautiful spirit. She touched the lives of many with an unforgettable grace.  She is survived by her four children, Kalen Smith, Cleopatra Thomas, Kali Smith and Karter Smith; her father, Stephen D. Smith (Lisa); her mother, Judy Smith-Joyner (Matthew); two brothers, Aaron Smith (Charly) and Cory Velasquez (Mandy) and a sister, Cassandra Beaver; two uncles, Charles Dawson Jr. (Ginny) and Michael Joyner; an aunt, Angie McClure (Mike); and a host of nieces and nephews, along with numerous family, friends and loved ones.  There will be a memorial service at a later date to be announced.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Grace House of Memphis and the National Harm Reduction Coalition, which supports the health and dignity of those who use drugs.
