Ruth Ann Loft passed from this life into God's hands peacefully on November 17, 2022 at the age of 82.

She was a faithful member of the Church from a young age and dedicated her life to God and her family. She taught her family and friends what it meant to be a Christian by the life that she led - by example, attitude, words and actions.

Ruth was born on March 20, 1940 to William and Beauton Walker in Turkey Scratch, TN. She was a member of Munford Church of Christ and former member of East Frayser Church of Christ, and North Seventh Street (Seventh and Bethel) Church of Christ.

Ruth is survived by her daughter,  Ann Yarbro (Ron) and son, Stephen Loft (Brenda); five grandchildren, Erin Yarbro (Magnus), Korey Loft (Jake), Savannah Wells (Dustin), Liam Loft, and  Eric Cousar; nine great- grandchildren, Ethan Yarbro, Rebekah  Yarbro, Isabella Yarbro, Deacon Christian, Logan Christian, Malia Greenlees, Ellie Greenlees, Eaden Wells, and Odin Wells.

We celebrate her life and the blessings of being able to be a part of it. We mourn the loss of such a sweet, precious loved one but know that she is in a better place now. The greatest hope and goal is to follow her example and to see her again some day in Heaven.

We love you Mom and miss you so much but know that you are in your happy place now.

Memorial donations are requested to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, in lieu of flowers.
