Ruth Elizabeth Bean, 67, of Millington, TN, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Memphis. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. on Friday, May 20, at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home located at 6755 Hwy. 51 North in Millington. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, at Idlewild Presbyterian Church located at 1750 Union Avenue in Memphis. Interment to follow in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. Mrs. Bean leaves her husband, Albert L. Bean, Sr. of Millington; one son, Albert L. Bean, Jr. of Memphis; one daughter, Effie Bean Cozart (and husband Joseph) of Arlington, TN; two sisters, Doris Young of Millington and Suzette Boone of Norfolk, VA; four brothers, Joseph, Pheenoris and Kenny Boone of Norfolk and Archie Boone of Brooklyn, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
