Ruby Pearl Thomas, age 82, passed away December 4, 2010 at her residence in Covington, TN. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. on Friday, December 10, and services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, both at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home at 6755 Hwy. 51 N. in Millington, TN. Interment to follow in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband, Billy M. (Red) Thomas; her parents, Walter and Lora Higgins; two brothers, Walter Farris Higgins and Leonard Hayes Higgins; and one sister, Margie Loretta Joy. She leaves one son, William Harvey Thomas and his wife Merrie of Covington; one brother, Audrey B. Higgins of Brighton, TN; numerous nieces and nephews, and one special family friend, Stephen Kuykendall of Tipton County.
