Ruby Lee Robinson, age 92, of Florissant, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 29 at her home after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer.

Funeral services will be held at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Memphis, TN with Ruby's brother-in-law, Pastor Jim Meredith, officiating.   Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery .

Ruby was born in Mississippi to Edwin and Bessie Lynchard on October 27, 1928. Although raised in Mississippi, she moved to Memphis at age 14 and worked as a licensed cosmetologist for many years.  At age 18 she married the love of her life, Charles F. Robinson. They were married for nearly 60 years at the time of his passing. She worked in Memphis as a cotton classer for the USDA until moving the family to St. Louis (Florissant)  in 1973 where she worked as a pharmacy assistant for 12 years before retiring.  Her love was reflected in her volunteer work at First Baptist Church of Ferguson where she was a long time member for over 40 years.  She also volunteered at Parker Road Elementary School helping children learn to read.
