Roy Thomas (Sonny) Alsup, 84, passed away in his home in Memphis, TN on Tuesday, April 14th. Sonny was born in Falkner, MS on February 10, 1942 to Leland Vance (LV) and Maudie Hugh Alsup. He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 siblings and infant son, Gregory Thomas Alsup.

He is survived by his wife and sole caretaker, Judy. Son, Jeff Alsup of Beverly, MA, 3 daughters Pamela Alsup Grant (Craig) of Swampscott, MA, Tammy Alsup Southerland (Gary) of Sherwood, AR, and Angela Alsup of North Little Rock, AR, 3 grandchildren, Jeffrey Alsup, Savannah Houdek(Adam), Zachary Balboni and 1 great grandson, Michael Houdek.

Sonny was a truck driver for over 40 years traveling all over the US. He grew up in Memphis, moved to Arkansas and after many years returned to the place where his heart always belonged Memphis, TN.

A private service with family will be held.
