Roselene Virginia Mae Royer, 83, died Sunday, June 22, 2014 at St Francis Hospital, Memphis, TN. Mrs. Royer loved music. She taught music in Carlinville, Illinois for 31 years at her store, Rosie's Sound Of Music, where she held annual recitals. She was a member of Carlinville First Assembly of God Church in Carlinville, IL for 51 years. She taught children's Sunday School for over 25 years. She also played the guitar there and conducted all the Children's Musical Productions for decades. Outside of church she planned benefits for Cancer patients. Her survivors include her husband of 65 years, Keith Leroy Royer Sr. of Cordova, TN; son, Keith Leroy (Purisima) Royer Jr. of Cordova, TN; daughter, Mitzie (Rev. Michael) Brumback of Riverton, WY; grandchildren, Michael Dean (Carissa) Brumback Jr. of Litchfield, IL; Marci (Michael) Comet of Concord, CA; Rosemilaine (Tobin) Warner of Terre Hill, PA; and David (Luchee) Royer, Cordova, TN; great grandchildren, Brooke Warner, Connor O'Reilly; Jacob Warner; and Ashlyn Warner; sisters, Rosellen (James) Chockley of West Burlington, IA. Preceding her in death are her parents, Jesse G. Shore and Goldie Springsteen; brother, Elmer Shore, brother, Robert Shore and sister, Rosemary Carey. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Thursday, June 26, 2014, from 12:30 - 2:00. Funeral Services will be at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 2:00. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
