Ronald A. Walker, 50, of Memphis, TN, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at his home. Mr. Walker was previously a Math teacher for Memphis City Schools, and a retired pastor of the Methodist Church. As a teenager Ronald attended Douglas High School and graduated at the top of his class as the Valedictorian. During his time at Douglas HS, Ronald was a member of the varsity football team, as well as a member of the high school marching band. Mr. Walker also enjoyed writing. Surviving Ronald is his father, Leslie B. Walker; two brothers, Ricky Walker and Fredrick Walker; and one sister Janel Williams (Leroy) all of Memphis, TN. Mr. Walker also leaves behind two aunts, Clarice Lawson and Annie Mae Snell, along with a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
