Roger Ridgeway, age 89, of Millington, TN peacefully passed away July 15, 2022.

He was a graduate of the Ohio Soldiers & Sailors Children's Home in Xenia, OH and served in the United States Navy after graduation. He retired after 30 years of service from the City of Memphis Fire Department. He was heavily involved in his church community and the River M Sams Camping Club throughout his life. He was a devoted father and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Eunice Ridgeway.

He is survived by his sons, Wayne Ridgeway of Millington, TN and Bruce Ridgeway (Karla) of Lake Tansi, TN; granddaughter, Chasity Boshers (Aaron) of Smyrna, TN; great granddaughters, Kylee and Payton Boshers of Smyrna,TN; nieces Sheila DeHoff (John) of Millington, TN and Janice White (Glenn) of Southaven, MS.

Graveside service will be held at 11AM Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington, TN with Rev. Billy Thomas officiating. If desired, friends may make memorial contributions to the Assoc of Ex Pupils Ohio Soldiers & Sailors Children's Home at 650 Elliott Dr, Xenia, OH 45385 .

Roger will be greatly missed by his family.
