Bobby Young passed away Saturday, April 25th, 2020. He was 73 years old.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Mary Young and his two brothers, Kenneth and Larry Young.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Young, his son, Wayne Young (Salli Scott), his daughter Ashley Maclin (Steve) and two grandsons, Jon Harris and Taylor Maclin.
Bobby was employed at the Commercial Appeal for about 40 years. He was a long time member of Bartlett Baptist Church where he loved serving others. He enjoyed playing golf, tennis and supporting the Memphis Tigers. His greatest joy was his family and watching his grandson play baseball and basketball.
A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 28, at Forest Hill East. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bartlett Baptist Church Missions.
