Robert Lee Talley, Jr., 82, of Memphis, TN passed away Saturday, August 8, 2018. Mr. Talley was preceded in death by his son, Robert Lee Talley, III. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Betty Jean Talley; children: Pam Agar (Steve), Harold Lofton (Marcia), Brenda Ewing(Martin), Terry Goddard (Jan), Patricia Posey (Sam), and Cora Scarborough; grandchildren: Tracy, Dwayne, Stephen, Shawn, Crystal, April, Richard, and Selena; and great-grandchildren: Jacquelyn, Morgan, Katie, Gracie, Ava, and Sara. Mr. Talley served our country in the United States Army. He went on to work with Coca-Cola for 35 years. After retirement he worked with the City of Memphis at Overton Park Golf Course for 10 years, where he taught his grandsons, Stephen and Richard, to play. Mr. Talley was a kind, loving man who will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 1-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00. All services and interment will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests any memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
