Richard retired from International Harvester and The University of Tennessee in
Memphis. He was a car enthusiast and spent many evenings in the garage helping
others with their cars and building his 32' Chevrolet. Richard lived most of his life in
Memphis, TN while only living recently in Cookeville with his son and family. In his last
years, he enjoyed spending time with family, sharing his love and knowledge of cars
with others as well as attending The River Community Church and having the
opportunity to hear his son, Steve, preach on Sundays. Richard's life is a testimony of
the goodness of God who is faithful to all who desire to be in relationship with Him.
Richard enjoyed supporting some of his grandchildren who have served at Lighthouse
