Munford - Renate Ina Maria Rickard, went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2009. She was 70 years old. Born November 18, 1938 in Heidelberg, Germany, the oldest of 9 children. She was preceded in death by her mother, Johanna, one sister, Gaby and one brother, Leo. Renate devoted her life to her family always putting them first. She loved to fish, swim and took pride in her flower gardens. She is survived by her loving husband, Rick, of 45 years; one daughter, Patty (Michael) Starnes; one son, Armin (Barbara) Frank; two sisters, Brigette and Ursula; four brothers Lothar, Michael, Tommy and Ricky; five grandchildren, Jacob, Lisa, Robbie, Lisa Michelle and Brian; three great-grandchildren, Jelisa, Miriam and Candise. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday June 25. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Friday June 26 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, with burial in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
