Mrs. Rebecca Rose Mayhugh
June 18, 1943 – April 17, 2023

Rebecca Rose Wilkerson Mayhugh passed from this life to glory at the age of 79 on April 17, 2023. She
had spent her last 7 years as resident of Gateway Health Nursing Home. She died in the hospital from
heart failure. Her memorial service will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, 6755 HWY
51 North, Millington, TN. Viewing & Condolences at 9 am in the chapel followed by a 10 am Memorial
service. We would love to see all her friends from the Millington area, which she held so dear.

Mrs. Rebecca Mayhugh was born June 18, 1943 in Meridian, Mississippi. She was born to the late
Ralph and Alma Pat Wilkerson. Rebecca wore many "hats" in her life. She wore the sailor's wife "hat"
for 20 years. She wore it well through all the struggles that come along with that "hat". One thing is
for sure, no one could ever call her lazy. She was indeed a hard worker. She was dedicated and
focused to the task at hand. Whether it be fencing with her husband Dennis, teaching in VBS or
coaching girls' basketball and softball. She was the queen of hospitality. Her door always open and
her table always full. In her spare time (amazing she had any) she was a crochet master and a savvy
seamstress. She could make anything. Her creativity knew no limits. However, in all of her 79 years
she would say her crowning achievement was her 5 daughters.

She was preceded in death by her oldest 2 daughters Becky Len & Patricia Rose.
Also, son in law: Sherman Roy Wiggin II.
Survivors include: Her husband Dennis of Popular Bluff, Missouri. 3 daughters
Harriet Mahyhugh Dollar (husband James of Dawsonville GA), Laura Mayhugh Wiggin (widowed),
Krista Mayhugh Marr (husband Mike of Arlington TN) Also, two siblings, her sister Nell Rose and her
brother David. She has 12 grandchildren, and 15 and still counting… great grandchildren.
