Moscow - Raymond T. Bertrand, age 62, of Moscow, TN, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Methodist Hospital, Germantown. Visitation will be Friday, November 4, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., with a Funeral Mass following at 11 a.m., both at the Catholic Church of the Incarnation in Collierville, TN. Burial to follow at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery in Millington, TN. Mr. Bertrand served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War era. He was a loyal employee of Carrier Corporation, and a member of The United Steelworkers Local 7655. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Maxine Bertrand. He leaves one son, Johnny Bertrand of Collierville; two step-daughters, Kathy Lynn Byrd of Moscow and Janice Bell Simmons of Raymond, MS; and one brother, Michael Henry Bertrand of New York. He also leaves nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society .
