Quincy Edward Clements was born in Dallas, Texas on October 26, 1943. He passed away in Memphis, Tennessee on September 13, 2023 at the age of 79 at Baptist East Hospital due to cardiac complications. He is survived by his only son, Douglas Edward Clements, daughter-in-law, Melody A. Clements and his Shitzu dog, Peanut. To speak of his life is to tell a tale of sordid inventions and odd reverse engineered mechanisms; ones that both bound and bonded his lives to all those he and they both touched. His father was an aeronautical engineer and his mother was a chemistry teacher. He enlisted in the United States Navy at a young age and served as an electronics/radar technician. After twenty years of service, he retired at the rank of SCPO E-8. He also worked for the FAA from which he fully retired from in his later years. He was kindhearted, loyal, logical, analytical-minded, humble, and always lived by example. He was deeply devoted to his wife and family and would do anything for them or almost anyone else he ever knew or met. He will be dearly missed and not easily forgotten for the amount of people's lives he touched is innumerable. We love you, Dad and miss you already. Please give Mom our love when you see her.
