Phyllis Lumpkin Howell- Age 70 of Atoka, TN, formerly of Memphis, TN, went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2017 at Baptist Tipton Hospital in Covington, TN. She was born on December 22, 1947 in Memphis, TN to Buford and Dorothy Lumpkin. She worked as a Homemaker, and was a longtime member of Woodstock Baptist Church.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 29 years, Jimmy Howell, formerly of Milan, TN and 2 sisters, Priscilla Ann Fisher and Lynda Dale Lumpkin. She is survived by three daughters, Brandy Ma, Tawnya Clark and Tiffany Howell; sons, Bryan Holmes and Bradford Holmes; brother, Dennis Lumpkin; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 12 pm, with visitation from 11 am until 12 pm at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home. The family would like to ask everyone to please wear red in honor and memory of Phyllis, as that was her favorite color.
