Peggy Sue Owens, 81, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026. She was born in Robinsonville, MS, on March 19, 1944, to parents Guy and Ella Tubbs. Peggy graduated from Hernando High School, after finishing her studied, she worked as a caregiver for many years. She married Harry Owens on November 13, 1995, they shared many wonderful years together until his passing. Peggy loved people and loved caring for others. She was a member of Redemption City Church and Pathway Southaven, where she was active in different ministries. She loved reading her bible and most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her loving husband Harry. She is also preceded in death by her siblings: Johnnie Tubbs, Edwin Tubbs, Myrtle Mize, Roland Tubbs, Curtis Tubbs, Jean James, Doris Tubbs. Peggy leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter Tania Childers (Tim), 5 grandchildren, Caleb Childers, Colby Childers, Jaci Johnson, David Owens, and Archer Houston, as well as 1 great grandchild, Hudson Childers. Peggy will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss her more than words can express.
