Peggy Cook Cates, 73 of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on March 7, 2019. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ashley and Andy; grandchildren, Campbell and Caroline and daughter-in-law Kelly.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob; parents, Bennie and Bernice and her sister Karen. Her greatest joys in life were loving her family, cooking for other, playing cards, traveling to the mountains, cheering on the Tigers and Grizzlies and serving Christ.

Visitation with her family will be Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 5 until 7 p.m. The memorial service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 10 a.m. with the internment immediately following. All services will be at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park East 2440 Whitten Road.

Donations may be made in her honor to Hopeworks or Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
