Paul A. Jeter Jr., 87, of Memphis, TN went to see Jesus on September 30, 2025. Paul was born in Memphis, TN, to parents Paul and Katherine Jeter. He attended Frayser High School, where he graduated. After high school, Paul enlisted in the United States Army, where he served 3 dedicated years. He was a member of Egypt Baptist Church and worked as a Sunday School teacher as well as a deacon until his health declined. He is preceded in death by his parents Paul Sr. and Katherine Jeter, as well as his sister Sally F. Borchert both of Memphis, TN. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, Paul A. Jeter III and Donna Sparks, his grandchildren as well as his siblings: Judith Lancaster, Anita Poppenheimer, and Margaret Dixon.

Paul loved the outdoors, especially Shelby Desert. He enjoyed hunting and fishing whenever he could. Paul was an avid book reader, he loved reading about history and space. What he loved reading the most, was the word of God. He loved reading his bible. Paul read the bible faithfully as he would listen to his favorite Christian station on the radio. Paul was a loving brother and a good friend to all, he will truly be missed and we will cherish him in our hearts forever.
