Pattye Howard Rasberry, age 88, passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 at her home in Millington, TN. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Monday, April 30 and services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, both at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. Deeply committed to her family, church and community, Mrs. Rasberry was a 50+ year member of First Baptist Church of Millington, and was past president of numerous civic and charitable organizations including the Millington Garden Club, Reading Club, Bridge Club and the PTA. She also volunteered 30+ years with Baptist Hospital Neonatal Services and was a 20 year docent at the Fontaine Home in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Rasberry. She leaves two sons, James Rasberry and his wife Beth of Memphis, and Douglas Rasberry of Millington; two daughters, Nancy Harper and her husband Ken of Roswell, GA and Gail Schledwitz and her husband Karl of Memphis; and four grandchildren, Kathryn Schledwitz of Philadelphia, PA, Matthew Rasberry of Memphis, Karly Schledwitz of Washington, DC, and Ryan Rasberry of Sacramento, CA.
