Patricia (Patsy) R. Whitehorn was called home to our Lord on Thursday, February 24 th , 2022, at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis, Tennessee.  Born October 9 th , 1939, to Ernest and Hildreth Pickens in Dyess, Arkansas, Patsy was a loving and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her.  She was a 1957 graduate of Messick High School and worked as an accountant at Parts Industries in Memphis before "retiring" to Pope, Mississippi where she owned and operated a daycare business in Batesville for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Whitehorn, her two brothers Tommy Pickens and Jerry Pickens, and her two stepsons Ricky and Tommy Whitehorn.

She is survived by her two sons, Randy Richardson and his wife, Sandy, Lance Richardson and his wife, Christine, daughter Pam Franks and her husband, Mark, and stepdaughter, Debbie Wilkins.  She is also survived by grandchildren, Amber, Kayla, Brittany, Bethany, Brooke, Kelsey, Andrew, and Maryna, Jeff, Paul B., Perri and a whole bunch of great grandkids. Her life was devoted to the care and concern for children, and everyone will miss their Mee-maw.

The family would like to especially thank Beth and Charles Dees for all the loving care they provided to Patricia over the years as well as a thank you to the physicians, nurses, and staff at Methodist North for the care and comfort they provided over the past month.

Visitation with family members will take place on Wednesday March 2 nd beginning at 12:30 pm at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington, Tn followed by a funeral service and graveside service beginning at 2:00 pm at the same location.
