Otis Holmes, 86, was born September 24, 1930 in Hayti, Missouri. He passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 29, 2017 and is now in God''s hands. He was proceeded in death by his father Arthur Tony Holmes; his mother Mary Magdalene Holmes; his sister Marie Vowell; and two grandsons Brandon Holmes and Dustin Gonterman. He is survived by his wife of 56 years of marriage, Mary Katherine Holmes; four children, Gary Holmes (Cindy), Michael Holmes (Sherry), Sandra Holmes, Lisa Van Vleet (Brian); and seven grandchildren that he was very blessed with, Daniel Holmes, David Holmes, Noah Holmes, Jeremy Dye, Jeffery Bell, Alex Van Vleet, and Alyssa Van Vleet. He was also blessed with six great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by his brothers, Edgar Holmes and Gene Holmes. He was a hardworking, self-employed business man. He was a very wise man, full of life and knowledge.
