Ollie Elizabeth Whitlow of Smyrna, TN passed away in her sleep during the early morning hours of January 4, 2016 at Stonecrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN. Visitation will be Friday, January 8, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. until funeral services at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.

She was born in Lauderdale County, Alabama on September 20, 1926. She was united in marriage to Aubrey J. Whitlow on December 10, 1944 in Poinsett County, Arkansas. They were married for 69 years when he preceded her in death on April 25, 2014. Mrs. Whitlow was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was a member of Frayser Baptist Church in Memphis, TN since 1956.

Mrs. Whitlow is survived by her son Neil Whitlow; seven grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents James and Myrtle Scott; her daughters Brenda Gail Whitlow and Barbara Ann Martz; her brothers Wesley Scott and Marvin Scott; her sister Mrs. Estelle Estess; her half-brothers Clarence Scott and Henry Scott; and her half-sister Mrs. Martha Higgins.
