Ola J. Cavens "Trudy", passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024, in Bartlett, TN. She was born in Pineville, Fl, on September 28, 1922. After graduating high school, Trudy began working as a clerk at Boatwrights and held her position there until retirement. On October 11, 1942, Trudy married the love of her life, Cecil Cavens and from that union 3 beautiful children were created. In her spare time, Trudy loved to read, she enjoyed quilting, as well as different types of word puzzles. She was an active member of Millington First United Methodist Church and was apart of the Eastern Star (Millington Order 385). She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Cecil Cavens. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children: Vernice Kearney, Carl Cavens (Mary), and Charlie Cavens. She also leaves behind in love her 6 grandchildren: Katherine Maffei, Brendan Kearney, Emily Kearney, Carrie Donnelly, Max Cavens, and Nicholas Cavens as well as 11 great-grandchildren. Trudy was loved deeply by the ones that knew her and her 101 years of life will be cherished by her family forever and ever.
