Nuwtrisa 'Pete' Paige was born on January 26, 1948 in Byhalia, MS to Nolia Bea Riley.  On Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 70 years of age, he departed this life after a battle with cancer.  He lived a very fulfilling life surrounded by family and friends.  He was an amazing family man and enjoyed the outdoors.

He married his bride, Judy, on September 8, 1975.  They were happily married 42 years.  With a promise to love one another for better or for worse, through sickness and in health, Judy stood by his side until the very end.  Their love and concern for each other was an excellent example of God's covenant for marriage.

On March, 31, 1979, he began a career with Harsco Minerals where he worked as a production worker.  After years of hard work and dedication to the company, he began working as a front-end loader operator. After 39 years, he retired from the company.  He then became an honorary part of the team, when he would be called upon to stop by and "school the rookies" whom all respected and loved him dearly.

His life will forever be cherished by his bride, Judy, his children Patricia Smith (Michael), Deatrice Craft, Devalae Paige, Kevin Mitchell (Sovanna), Keith Mitchell (Kellie), and Kimberly Morrow (Joe).  His siblings, Linda Paige, Darlene Paige, Delois Paige, Mitchell Paige & Deatrice Paige, along with a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
