Born Myrna Irene Luebke on April 21, 1949 in rural South Dakota outside of the Parkston area. She was raised on a loving Christian farm home where she learned her core values that would help guide her throughout her life. Myrna was a warrior for Christ! She reached countless souls through her ministry not only as a teacher in numerous schools, but also during her day to day activities.Myrna was the epitome of a Proverbs 31 woman. She was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a compass that pointed to the Lord, a lighthouse of Godly wisdom and advice, never giving up on anyone.Myrna had an adventurous spirit ready to travel on a whim to anywhere with anyone, always looking to make lasting memories. She loved hunting bargains and finding treasures, but her greatest treasures were found in God's word. She will continue to be a beacon to those she leaves behind including her children Denise (John) Pannell, Carolyn (Tracy) Whitney, David (Karen) Gammon, Arlan (Katie) Gammon, Seth (Rachel) Gammon, Emma (Joey) Martin, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Paul (Marlene) Luebke, Henry (Carol) Luebke, Martin (Karen) Luebke, Eunice Wermers, Lorna (Ed) Peterson, Marie (Delbert) Peterson, Betty (David) Brown, Lavonne (David) Black. There is great joy knowing she is now dancing on the streets of gold with her loved ones who proceeded her including reunion with her husband Ron, sister Lois, parents and countless others. Consider it pure joy, my brothers whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4 . In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Confidential Care for Women,
